Roncalli Catholic High School is excited to announce the hiring of former Omaha Westside head volleyball coach Korrine Bowers to lead the school’s volleyball program.

“We are thrilled to welcome Korrine to the Roncalli Catholic family,” Principal J.J. Stoffel said. “She brings a wealth of experience and success that will help build upon the solid foundation already established at Roncalli Catholic.”

Bowers begins her tenure at Roncalli Catholic on the heels of a successful 2022-23 season as head coach of Omaha Westside High School, leading the Warriors to a 30-9 record and runner-up finish in the 2022 NSAA Class A Volleyball Championship.

Bowers brings a wealth of championship experience to Roncalli Catholic, winning consecutive state titles as an assistant coach for Skutt Catholic in 2016 and 2017. Prior to her time at Skutt Catholic, Bowers earned three state championships as the head coach of Gross Catholic from 2005-2010.

“My family and I are happy to be a part of a faith-based school like Roncalli Catholic,” Bowers said. “Roncalli Catholic will allow me the opportunity to build a volleyball program and instill a foundation of success, all while instilling a championship mentality.”
