High School Placement Test
What is the HSPT?
The High School Placement Test (HSPT®) is used to help with admissions, scholarships, and finding the best class placements for students. The test is for eighth graders and helps make sure they’re set up for success as they start ninth grade.
The HSPT is scheduled for January 10, 2026 8:30am - 11:30am
This is both the practice exam (6/7th grade) and placement exam (8th grade)
A student is only allowed to take the 8th grade placement exam at one high school
Public schools do not administer the HSPT, however, any public school student is welcome to take the exam at Roncalli Catholic High School.
Every year, Roncalli Catholic High School provides academic scholarships to students who test at Roncalli Catholic and excel on the High School Placement Exam.
