Sam & Louies’ Lunch cards ARE available for purchase. The cost of the card is $33 (a $40 value) good for 10 lunches and can be purchased on Mondays, Wednesday, or Fridays thru the lunch line.

Yearbook staff members need to meet with Ms. Hoffmeier-Mangus on Tuesday, Wednesday or Friday to obtain end of semester assignments. The best times to visit with her are from 7:45-8 a.m. or 3:15-3:40 p.m. We will also be calling advertisers on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday afternoon, so bring your information with you to the meeting.
A book by Mike Lupica was turned into the library. If it is yours, please come and identify and claim it. If no one does, it will be added to the library collection.

Jeans Day:
Jeans and a Roncalli shirt for a $1. NO holes in the jeans & NO sweat pants or shorts on those days. November: 12 Pilgrimage

FBLA HAPPENINGS:
FBLA will be sponsoring Above the Influence Week Nov. 8-12
Monday: Fatality Day- Special Assembly Schedule with a Special Guest Speaker.
Tuesday: Scavenger Hunt-AP Schedule (Student Ambassadors)-Throughout the day, students will be able to find red ribbons around the school. During each period, we will give clues as to where the ribbons are hidden. The ribbons will be turned into Mrs. Aken. The class that finds the most ribbons will earn points. The class with the most points during the week will be able to compete in the Rush Obstacle Course on Friday.
Wednesday: Trivia Questions & Powder-puff Football Game: Regular Schedule: Throughout the day, FBLA members will read trivia question over the intercom. All students are allowed to answer. Answers will be submitted to Mrs. Aken between classes. Make sure to include your name on your answer when submitting. Winners will be announced at the end of the day and receive pop and candy.
After school we will host the Annual Powder-puff Football on the football field. It cost a $1 to play, cheer, or attend. Girls will be competing in Flag football and the boys will be the cheerleaders. Sign up in Mrs. Aken room or at lunch. Points will be awarded for best uniforms, winners of the half-time cheerleading competition, and the winners of the game. Freshman vs. Seniors will start at 3:45. Juniors vs. Sophomore will be the second quarter. Third quarter is the losers of the first and second quarter. Fourth quarter is the winners of the first and second quarter. Come out and enjoy the fun!
Thursday: Poster Contest & Video-Activity Period
Each homeroom will make a poster about Above the Influence supporting the program during AP time. The posters will be judged the winner will earn points. Also a 10 minute video will be shown over channel one. The class competing against the faculty will be announced at the end of the day.
Friday: Pep Rally Schedule: Jeans Day sponsored by Pilgrimage for Life-We would like students to wear Red shirts with their Jeans to support Above the Influence. The class that wins the most points will be competing against the faculty in the Annual "Rush Obstacle Course" during the pep rally.
PILGRIMAGE FOR LIFE: Registrations are due to Mr. Westra by the end of the day on Thursday, November 18 (or to the archdiocesan Family Life Office by November 19). Full payment of $375 must be included with registration. Some financial assistance is available from the school's Campus Ministry department. See Mr. Westra ASAP for details.
GUIDANCE OFFICE:
Starting immediately, those students on the Academic Ineligibility list will not be allowed to leave class to visit a college rep. If you are ineligible and cannot meet with a college you are interested in, see Mrs. Kunkel before hand and she will get you some information.
