Goal:

Our goal is to ensure that the athletic program prospers through volunteer time, talent and treasure so that all students participants have the opportunity to experience the benefits of organized high school athletic programs.  Although we have no involvement in recruiting, coaching, or player selection, we want to provide the very best possible facilities.  These include...

  • Improving the conditions of the Archbishop Rummel Gymnasium.   (ie.: general appearance, bleachers, scoreboards, training, wrestling and weight rooms, etc.)

  • Improving the conditions of all outdoor practice and playing fields.

  • Supporting the purchase of uniforms, equipment, and accessories.

  • Establishing new programs.

  • Supporting current programs.

Both you and your children are the beneficiaries of the Roncalli Catholic Booster Club.  The Booster Club supports all participants of Roncalli Catholic's fall, winter, and spring programs.  These programs are:

Fall Programs: Cheerleading, Cross-Country, Dance Team, Football, Softball, Boys Tennis, Girls Golf and Volleyball
Winter Programs: Basketball, Cheerleading, Dance Team, Swimming, and Wrestling
Spring Programs: Baseball, Girls Tennis, Boys Golf, Soccer, and Track

Your responsibility as an Member will be to participate in the following:

  • Attending Booster Club meetings and developing membership.

  • Improving attendance for all athletic events, home and away.

  • Participate in the organization of sports banquets.

  • Having fun.

  • Management of concession stands.

  • Ticket taking.

  • Helping with Chili feeds, tailgate burger bashes, and other fund raisers.

  • Selling of Roncalli Catholic Booster Club gear.

  • Generation of Booster Club newsletter.

  • Building spirit.

  • Increasing the overall value of Roncalli Catholic to the community.

The meeting was called to order by President, Trish Haniszewski at 7:22 p.m.

Coaches Report:    Thinking about new brochure/flyer for the games.  Mr. Herman and Mr. Meister will be working on this.

         Wish list purchases:  JV Warm up 

Boys Soccer warm ups for the Coaches are in.  Not sure on the girls soccer coaches.  Calipers are in, 6 sets of tennis scoreboards are in and track starting blocks are in.

 Sports Banquet May 4, at 5:00 p.m.

Mangia Italiana is catering:  Dress Casual no jeans or shorts.  Kids will sit with parents.  Bill Olson is the speaker.  Pasta for dinner.  240 approximately attending need volunteers to work tables.

 Ronda Aken has made a slide show; seniors will be given a copy of the DVD.  If others want it one will be burned for them if they bring in a DVD to do so.  A Shirt (Polo) will be given to Bill Olson as a thank you for coming a speaking.  Trish to get helium tank for balloons.

 Motion made by John Higgins to pay the balance up to $6,000.  2nd Trish Rump and all were in favor.

 Trish Haniszewski wants to stay involved in the membership committee, but will need help getting letters out for lifetime and corporate members in a timely manner. 

 Suggestion made to have a meeting in July of the board members to help get the information out.  Maybe getting a new letter out again, need to check on prices and also need someone to chair it.

 Trish will set up an appointment calander for a time line to get information out.

 Jr. Pride organization is growing strong. 

Clean up May 3, organized by Stephanie Andreesen.  She is funding this.  It starts from 8:30 to when ever.

 Golf Districts on Monday May 12th,   All spring sports are doing great.
