Roncalli #1 and #2 Singles both lost in the first round. Erica L played 1 singles and played close in the 2 out of 3 sets. Cemantha E played the #1 seeded at 2 singles. She played some great points and did her best to stay with her taking a number of games to deuce. 1 and 2 Double teams won first round matches. #1 doubles (Emily C/Shelby R) won over Scottsbluff and #2 Doubles (Justine L/Karyn B won over Lincoln Christian. Both lost in the second round. The #2 doubles also played tough against the #3 seeded McCook team Losing 3-6, 2-6. All the girls on the tennis team came a long way from the beginning of the season. I received many compliments from other coaches on how our girls played and look forward to being even stronger next year. This was our best finish on the girls side at state in 15 years as we placed 17th out of the 31 teams. Thanks again to ALL for your hard work
